Quota is a fully offline app. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything stays on your iPhone.
Information We Collect
Quota does not collect any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Name, email address, or contact information
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Location data
- Browsing history or usage analytics
- Health or financial data
No account or sign-in is required to use Quota.
Network Data
Quota reads network interface statistics directly from your iPhone using Apple's system APIs (getifaddrs). This data — bytes sent and received — is processed entirely on your device and never uploaded or transmitted anywhere.
Purchases
Quota Pro is available as an in-app purchase via Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. Quota never sees your payment details. Purchase verification uses Apple's StoreKit 2 — no billing information is shared with us.
Local Storage
Quota saves your preferences (quota limits, active mode, onboarding state, Pro status) using Apple's UserDefaults. This data is stored locally on your device only and deleted when you uninstall the app.
Notifications
Quota may send local push notifications when your data limit is reached. These are generated entirely on-device with no external server involved. You can disable them in iOS Settings → Notifications → Quota.
Children's Privacy
Quota does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected at all, Quota is safe for all ages.
Third-Party Services
Quota does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only third-party integration is Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Quota after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
